On April 10, 2021 , at approximately 5:36 p.m., Fremont police and fire personnel responded to a traffic collision involving a motorcyclist and a vehicle at the intersection of Dalgo Road and Mission Blvd. Upon arrival, medical aid was provided to the involved parties. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries. 
 
The motorcyclist, 50 years old, was traveling south bound Mission Blvd. approaching Dalgo Road. The driver of a Prius, 29 years old, was traveling eastbound on Dalgo Road. The Prius driver entered the intersection to make a left turn onto north bound Mission Blvd.  The motorcyclist collided with the Prius along the Prius’ driver’s side. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. 
 
The Prius driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.  DUI is not suspected. 
 
This is the fourth fatal traffic collision of the year.
