Fremont Police Seeks Person of Interest in Sexual Assault Investigation

Fremont Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a person of interest in connection with a sexual assault that occurred at a local hotel on August 16, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.

The person of interest is described as an adult male with a medium complexion, 40 to 50 years old, tall in stature, and of a thin build. His hair was described as dark with some gray, mid-neck to shoulder length, and fell below his ears. He has light brown or green eyes and may have a mole or bump on the bridge of his nose. The person's race is unknown; however, he could possibly be Hispanic or of mixed race. 

A composite sketch has been developed based on witness information and identifying features and is attached to this release.



This individual is considered a person of interest and is being sought for questioning. The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
