Gee AManager Amy Gee oversees the Public Affairs Unit and directs all engagement efforts for the Fremont Police Department, including marketing, social media, digital media, special events, crime prevention campaigns, and public information such as alerts, annual reports, community messaging, and press releases.  Amy joined the Police Department in 2018 as a Management Analyst and was promoted to Manager in 2022.  As an analyst, she managed several permitting programs and supported communications. Amy also serves as webmaster for several Police Department domains. 

Amy has over 20 years of experience in public and non-profit administration, including project management, marketing and outreach, and development. Before joining FPD, Amy served as a Program Officer for the University of California Office of the President and was the Asia Pacific Development Manager for the world-renowned international non-profit Room to Read. Amy has extensive experience working with diverse communities.

Amy has a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed her Master of Public Administration at San Francisco State University. In recent years, Amy also completed a series of professional development courses, including the Alameda County Leadership Academy, the International Association of Chief of Police's Women's Leadership Institute, and the Communications Program with the California Association of Public Information Officials. Amy was named Fremont Police's Manager of the Year in 2025. 

Amy has been a Fremont resident for over 16 years and lives with her family, which includes her husband, her daughter, two dogs, and two cats.
