Know Your Stuff!

Being young means exploring new freedoms—and that’s awesome! But knowing your stuff is what keeps those freedoms fun and safe!

Whether it’s understanding the real risks of drugs, riding e-bikes responsibly, or handling cyberbullying without it taking over your life, knowledge is power. This isn’t about scare tactics or rules for the sake of rules—it’s about giving you the facts so you can make smart choices, look out for your friends, and stay in control online and offline.

Staying safe doesn’t make you boring; it makes you prepared!

Wild hazards have appeared in your area! It's dangerous to go alone! Look below to identify these hazards out in the wild and remember to keep your friends and yourself safe from these critical threats!

  • Fentanyl
    WARNING: FENTANYL

Knowing the dangers of drugs—especially fentanyl—can save lives.

    What's Fentanyl?
  • E-Bikes
    CAUTION: E-BIKES

E-bikes are a fun way to get around if you know the rules.

    Which E-Bike?
  • Cyberbullying
    BLOCK: CYBERBULLIES

Bullying can hurt, but you’re not powerless.

    Stop Bullying!
Know Your School Resource Officer

 SRO Group 600x600 white v2

Besides friends, parents, teachers, and counselors, do you know your School Resource Officer (SRO)?

SROs are at staged at each high school to help keep everyone safe and supported. They also support junior highs/middle schools within their assigned school district. They’re trained to handle emergencies, prevent problems before they start, and be someone you can go to if you’re worried about safety—at school or online.

SROs aren’t just about rules; they’re there to listen, help, and make sure school is a safe place for everyone to learn.

Every SRO Officer is carrying their very own custom trading card.

These cards feature the officers and their partners, designed to capture the unique spirit of the high schools they serve.

Here is how you can get involved:

  • Meet Your SRO: Stop by to say hello and ask for their card—they might even give you an autograph!
  • Start Your Collection: Try to collect the full set yourself.
  • Trade Up: Swap with friends from other high schools to complete your collection.

Don't miss out on this limited edition run. Get to know the officers keeping your campus safe and grab your cards today!

Collect Them All

We have created a whole set of exciting trading cards just for kids, featuring our officers, cool equipment, helpful safety tips, and even our four‑legged heroes like our K‑9s and therapy dog friends. You’ll find cards that teach you smart habits—like staying safe online, knowing the rules of the road, learning about e‑bikes, and understanding drug awareness—alongside fun character‑style cards inspired by your favorite games. These cards are designed to make safety learning fun, easy, and something you can share with your friends. Keep an eye out—you never know which card you’ll discover next!

How To Get Involved

I want to help and get involved!

Explorers Orientation

Our Explorer Program is a chance for teens to get involved with the police department, give back to their community, and learn real-life skills.

Explorers are aged 14 - 18 and they volunteer at special events, help with community safety, and receive hands-on training in leadership, teamwork, and public safety.

It’s a great way to build confidence, gain experience, and see what a career in public service could look like—while making a difference.
