Important Notice on City of Fremont Facilities Closure

In an effort to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), City of Fremont facilities, including the lobby of the Police Department, the Detention Facility, and the Tri-City Animal Shelter, are currently closed to public visitors. Fremont Police Department has six K9/handler teams, four German Shepherds and two Bloodhounds, used in Patrol, SWAT operations, Narcotics, and Tracking (trailing). The K9 teams are put through continuous training and compete in annual competitions, and their services are often requested and utilized by outside agencies.
